Dr. Jack Hinze, Pharm D, ND, has
close to 40 years experience as a naturopathic physician,

potential weakness in the techniques commonly used
to extract botanical materials.
He realized that the resultant water,
alcohol and glycerine mixtures
lacked certain
important constituents, in particular trace
minerals. With the goal of preserving plant integrity,
Dr Hinze developed the Bioplenus
MethodTM
of extraction.
Extracting the Essentials

Where possible, organic or wildcrafted
plant materials
are selected

In order to isolate the essential
active principals, plant matter
is separated into three fractions

The active principals are purified
using
appropriate methods that retain
trace minerals and other
important components

The resultant
purified, recombined essentials
are utilized in the manufacture our botanical
products and herbal tinctures
The Bioplenus
MethodTM involves
three steps...
1. Separation: The
active principals, or essentials, are separated in
crude form from the original material. These essentials take the form of
a clear volatile fraction, an oily fraction and a mineral residue.
2. Purification: Each
fraction is subjected to a purification process which releases the
herb principals (oil soluble, water soluble, non-mineral and
mineral). The presence of these principals
contributes to better utilization
of the herb.
3. Recombination: Once
the essential active fractions have been separated and purified, they are
recombined into one solution.
